    1. Acceptance of the Terms

    These Terms of Use are entered into by and between you and AxelResearch, LLC ("AxelResearch," “Company,” “we,” or “us”).
    The following terms and conditions, together with any documents they expressly incorporate by reference (collectively, the “Terms”), govern your access to and use of axelresearch.org, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through axelresearch.org (the “Website”).

    Please read the Terms carefully before using the Website. By using the Website, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, available at www.axelresearch.org/privacy-policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms or the incorporated documents, you must not access or use the Website. 

    These Terms may supplement, and are subject to, any Service Agreement or other written contract entered into between you and AxelResearch (each, a “Client Agreement”). If these Terms conflict with a Client Agreement, the Client Agreement controls.

    If you are an Expert, you are additionally subject to the Expert Terms & Conditions and any other written agreements you have with AxelResearch. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and those agreements, the latter shall control.

    1. Eligibility

    This Website is offered and available only to users who are 18 years of age or older and reside in the United States or its territories.
    By using the Website, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. If you do not meet all of these requirements, you must not access or use the Website.

    1. Changes to the Terms

    We may revise and update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when posted and apply to all access to and use of the Website thereafter.
    Your continued use of the Website following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
    You are expected to check this page periodically so you are aware of any updates, as they are binding on you.

Through these Services, users may connect with qualified professionals for informational interviews, research consultations, and related insights.

AxelResearch does not provide medical, investment, legal, or other professional advice, and no advisory, fiduciary, or attorney-client relationship is created between users of the Services and AxelResearch or its affiliates. Your use of any information obtained through the Website is at your own risk, and AxelResearch disclaims all liability arising from reliance on such information.

    We reserve the right to withdraw or amend this Website, and any service or material we provide on the Website, in our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.     To access the Website or some of the resources it offers, you may be asked to provide certain registration details or other information. It is a condition of your use of the Website that all the information you provide on the Website is correct, current, and complete. You agree that all information you provide to register with this Website or otherwise, including through the use of any interactive features on the Website, is governed by our Privacy Policy, and you consent to all actions we take with respect to your information consistent with our Privacy Policy.

    1. Trademarks

    The name AxelResearch, the AxelResearch™ logo, designs, and all related product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks or trade dress of AxelResearch, LLC or its affiliates or licensors, whether or not registered. You must not use such marks without AxelResearch’s prior written permission. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on this Website are the trademarks of their respective owners.

    1. Prohibited Uses

    You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.  Without limiting the foregoing, you shall not:

    • Violate any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation, including laws governing the export of data or software.

    • Send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use, or re-use any material that violates these Terms or applicable law.

    • Impersonate or attempt to impersonate AxelResearch, any AxelResearch employee, another user, or any other person or entity.

    • Engage in conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Website or that may harm AxelResearch, its users, or expose them to liability.

    • Introduce viruses, trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other malicious or technologically harmful material.

    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any part of the Website, its server, or any computer or database connected to it.

    • Attack the Website via a denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attack.

    • Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Website, monitor activity, or copy materials without authorization.

    1. User Contributions and Content Standards

AxelResearch may remove or refuse to post any User Contribution for any reason and may disclose your identity to law-enforcement authorities if required by law. You understand that AxelResearch is not responsible for any User Contributions posted by others and has no obligation to monitor them.

    You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.

    1. Arbitration

    At AxelResearch's sole discretion, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Website may be submitted to final and binding arbitration before JAMS in Wilmington, Delaware, under its applicable rules. Judgment on any award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. 

    1. Limitation on Time to File Claims

    Any cause of action or claim you may have arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues; otherwise, it is permanently barred.

    1. Waiver and Severability

    No waiver by the Company of any term or condition set out in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing

    waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of the Company to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

    If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms will continue in full force and effect.

    1. Entire Agreement

    These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Expert Terms & Conditions constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and AxelResearch with respect to the Website and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the Website.
